| Case Study HANDLEMAN UK |
Handleman UK Ltd are a distributor and store merchandiser of products including books, DVD's, CD's, games, hardware, greetings cards and gift wrap.
Handleman had a requirement to mark out and coat a series of pallet drop locations, gangways and fork lift truck crossing areas.
This was achieved by firstly preparing the gangways by vacuum enclosed shot blasting and diamond grinding all pallet locations. Two coats of water based coating were then applied to the gangways whilst forklift crossing areas and pallet locations finished with a high build epoxy coating.

To comply with Health and Safety regulations the customer had requested green gangways throughout the shop floor to enable a safe passage for employees to reach their workstations.
Forklift Truck Identification - These hatched areas were marked out in Yellow and Black to identify hazardous areas where forklift trucks would be crossing.
Pallet Drop Locations - A series of numbered lines were marked out and coated to identify the individual pallet drop locations throughout the shop floor. |
